Sharmila Joshi of Prabhudas Lilladher is of the view that one can stay with Bharti Airtel at current level.
Joshi told CNBC-TV18, "My guess would be to stay with Bharti Airtel for a while because we need to get a greater clarity on MTN because we do not know really how this thing is going to pan out if there is going to be bidding or whether it is going to be accepted and at what level are they really going to buy it at and how they are going to raise the points etc because I think if you just look at the kind of numbers that Bharti gave were really good this quarter."
She further added, "They stood on all the parameters whether you are talking of minutes of usage or the kind of subscribers the way I did. So I would just a wait a bit, in keeping with the way we have seen things move that whenever you hear such a buy out especially on a company is trying to buy out a company that is larger than it, we have really seen that in a near-term there has been negativity whether it was Tata-Corus or any other. So I would just say wait and see how this thing pans out."
